The Solution To Homeless-ness

Most homeless persons are single.
Providing for the single and entry level citizen is critical to solving the homeless problem that is currently growing out of control in America. The Cities and builders left the single persons need to be housed out of the picture.

Here is another alarming fact that is adding to the problem of homeless-ness in America. The cost of owning and maintaining a car, feeding the person, telephone service and all that is neccessary to maintaining a job far exceeds the amount of money entry level citizens can make.

The Solution To Homeless-ness is providing small bedrooms with a Farm operation on site. A place where the single person can live and not need anymore than to work the Hydroponics Garden to pay for and maintain their life. A Place Where Food Production is the #1 Business. A place where a Diversified Hydroponics Garden grows many types of fruits and vegetables. Enough to keep persons satisfied.

A key issue to making this type living environment work, is to have a large enough body of persons sharing in the work load as a Team reducing the amount of time it takes to produce and process the food necessary to maintaining the life of the whole group. If 10 person attempt to produce the amount of food needed to sustain the lives of 10 persons they will work 10 times more hours than if 100 persons worked to maintain the lives of 100 persons. Hydroponics Gardens have become money making business's in America because a small group of person can produce allot more food than they can eat and this equals profits. So farming is a money making business in many places in America.

In Snowflake Arizona, a hydroponics operation is now producing more tomatoes than they can sell so they have been giving tomatoes away in many areas. Like Saint Johns, while this might not be good for people selling tomatoes this is great for the security of the people. America has never suffered much loss of life due to famine but someday famine will be a reality in america. In North Korea 10% of the Population died in the 1990's.  Read moreFamine

The main reasons famine will be a reality for the Cities in America and other Countries is because almost no persons work on projects that bring food to the table compared to how many need to be fed. Also the food is too far away from the cities. Living near the food source is the solution to the dangers of City living.

How about owning an RV Site next to a Diversified Hydroponics Gardening Operation. People need what ever will work, to solve the growing homeless-ness problems. I don't believe that City Officials see clearly yet what the solutions are. And this is a big part of the solution, that people not need to work a money making job to sustain their lives. Survivalists working a smart hydroponics farm as close as can be to a power source.

It is time to move to the farm and throw away the need for everyone needing to own a car to live. Walk to the Garden Pick your salad. I am sure that the amount of persons needed to maintain a Hydroponics Operation is 2-3% of the amount of people that can be fed by the operation. This should be easy to prove. I will go to a Hydroponics Business and do my research. I am sure that a Garden capable of feeding 100 can be maintained by 2-3 persons with no problem.

A tomatoe plant continues to produce tomatoes as long as the grow cycle stays consitant. With Hydroponics we are able to contol and maintain the growth cycle keeping it consitant so the plant continues to produce without regrowing new plants as with things like Brocolli, Celery or Spinach Etc. Another very eye opening fact about hydroponics is that plants grow 2-4 times faster than in the ground, or in dirt.

California will not cure its homeless problems nor any other State except by cutting all the middle men out of the process of getting the food to the table. The Government continues to cater to corporations and this puts the whole population at risk. People need to be close to and own the food source, it is that simple.

Take a look at a more secure way to feed the people In-Common

Chronically homeless people, defined as those who have been homeless for a year or more, comprise 35,000 of the county's 91,000 homeless -- the largest homeless population of any metropolitan area in the nation, the census showed.

(The above statement implies that the Homeless population rose from 35,000 to 91,000 in one year and they never counted me living in my car nor thousands of others I am sure, this statement was added by Robert owner of www.FreedomOpportunities.com)

City and county officials who gathered at a homeless shelter in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday applauded the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority for undertaking the census, which was conducted on three consecutive nights in January. Nevertheless, they said, the results should put Angelenos to shame.

The census was conducted by more than 1,600 volunteers and homeless people who were paid to gather data. The census here was part of a nationwide effort called for by federal officials to get more accurate figures on the homeless.

The Law makers and Government worry when the Economy has problems growing, people keep having children so thus the World must provide for them a place to go and so the economy must grow. But in places like LA we have a great problem, the Leaders and City advisers have failed to recognize a very serious problem. 100's of thousands of kids graduate High School in the Los Angeles area inside the city limits and they won't have a place to go. No more land, not enough jobs no affordable housing. Moving just outside the City limits is not the answer. That is what the Palmdale Lancaster area did several years back. Developers built homes in Palmdale Lancaster area to provide a more affordable housing development project and the people scrambled to buy, but many of those people travel to LA for employment and better paying Jobs. I was working as a Carpenter in the Beverly Hills area and as I talked to a father and son who drove together from Palmdale and back home everyday, they explained to me that they spend 5 hours everyday driving in traffic! What a waste of time what a waste of gas. Cars that get 20 MPG at 60 MPH get 5-6 MPG in stop and go traffic. When there is no traffic the drive is 30-40 minutes. This is not a problem that has a solution!

Consider this, to maintain a job, in most cases, we must own a car. Pay for insurance, gas and maintenance. That cost has risen to a low average of $600.00 per mo. Bedrooms and apartments cost at a low average $700.00 per mo. In Los Angeles. If you eat out at McDonalds 90 meals at $5.00= $450.00 per mo. Add other things like clothing and Telephone services and electric then we can easily spend a low average of $500.00 per mo. Total = $2350.00 The numbers don't add up anymore... A skilled Carpenter must haul around $10,000 worth of tools and if they are not safe at night, they will get stolen, so he needs a garage or storage facility, adding another expense too his budget. In Venice 25 sq ft of storage is $110.00 per mo. Total expenses= $2450.00 A highly skilled Carpenter working for a company averages $20.00 per Hr and takes home $600.00 per week. $600.00 x 4 weeks = $2,450.00 Total expenses without the Garage are higher because of tool maintenance etc The Carpenter has nothing for entertainment nothing for kids and family, he can no longer support a family. Most peoples expenses are in the same range and make far less than $20.00 per hr, the average kids don't have a chance, of finding a life. Homeless populations are growing fast in the area. Many of the people have been forced to live in cars and Motor homes and the Law Makers in Los Angeles have made living in a car and motor homes illegal and now have been given authority to seize the vehicle of people caught sleeping in their vehicles.
